Pru is the homebase to some of Chicago’s most industry-advancing companies and The American Association of Endodontists (AAE) is no exception. As part of the larger “Worth Saving” campaign — which has garnered over 30 million impressions — AAE has chosen May as “Save Your Tooth Month”, a national initiative designed to recognize the work of endodontics and raise awareness about preserving natural teeth through events, social media celebrations and more.

As AAE’s Chief Marketing and Communications Officer Kim FitzSimmons, MBA, CAE, explains, “The Worth Saving campaign is meant to bring to life that, like your natural teeth, there are things, people and places that are worth revering. And since endodontists are the superheroes of saving teeth, we’re giving them an entire month of recognition.”

To help kick off this campaign, AAE will be hosting a pop-up event on April 26th, from 11:30 AM to 2 PM just outside of Pru at Lake Street Plaza, open to all Pru tenants and the public. Attendees will learn about the importance of endodontics and how dental health can impact overall well-being, while enjoying festivities like a selfie station, free toothbrush kits and t-shirts, games and a special discount offer from Just Salad.

“We are thankful Pru has generously allotted us the use of the magnificent plaza space and that they’re helping us raise awareness of our pop-up event, and ultimately, of our specialty and the importance of saving teeth,” says FitzSimmons. “This message of public health is something that everyone can get behind – and something that benefits all our building’s tenants. We couldn’t be happier with this partnership.”

And the education doesn’t end there. AAE will also be holding a groundbreaking conference from May 3rd-6th. The Annual Meeting is the largest endodontic gathering in the world, bringing thousands of endodontists, general dentists and professional staff together to learn, network and honor their peers. Every annual meeting includes an exhibit hall, educational sessions, workshops and special events, such as a Keynote Speaker, President’s Breakfast and Coolidge Awards Ceremony. This year, the meeting is taking place right here in AAE’s hometown of Chicago, heralding in Save Your Tooth Month in a massive way.
